The gentle folds of the Nest Shawl are crafted by the fibres of Eri silk, Gheecha silk and the Tussar intertwining delicately on the warp of the sturdy hand spun cotton thread.

Additionally, the small nest symbol has been woven as an extra weft into the corner, and is symbolic of the resurgence of nature. Needless to say, that all the yarns are dyed in natural colours, be it the soft hues in Indigo or the earthy brown for the nest.

Hema Shroff- a textile designer and founder of Amba Weave- conceptualized the mesmerizing Nest shawl during the initial stages of the pandemic. As Hema observes - “The world stood still during the onset of Covid, and this became a time to look around and truly “see”. “
