Cherry Kaftan White

Part of Nila's Madder Collection, the Cherry Kaftan is now available in a fresh white colourway. Crafted from soft, handwoven Jamdani fabric, it features lattice motifs that have been woven in using red yarns dyed in manjistha (Rubia cordifolia).  

The motifs are a contemporary take on a traditional Jamdani design, added using a specialised supplementary weft technique—a hallmark of Jamdani weaving that requires immense patience, time, and skill.

With its airy drape and light cotton fabric, the Cherry Kaftan is perfect for an elevated yet laid-back look. Wear it as a dress or style it with trousers for a more formal, layered outfit.      

Composition - 100% handloom cotton and madder (Rubia cordifolia).      

Care - Gentle hand wash separately in cold water. Line dry in shade. Avoid harsh detergents or liquid soaps.
