Nest Cushion

Our love for the timeless combination of indigo and white carries on in the Nest Cushion. Made from pure handwoven cotton dyed in natural indigo, the cushion carries a bold stripe of fine Kantha embroidery in white thread, reminiscent of grains of rice in a sacred ceremony. The frame of the cushion is given a subtle, playful detail with tiny hand-made tassels in white and indigo. The indigo textile for the Nest Cushion was handwoven on looms in West Bengal. The embroidery and tassels were done by hand in Jaipur.  

Designed as a lumbar cushion, the soft, natural textile and thread detailing is designed for comfort. On its own or in an ensemble of a mix-match cushion set, the Nest Cushion is versatile enough to fit into any interior scheme, bringing the soothing beauty of indigo and handmade textiles to any space.

Composition and care 

100% handloom cotton 

Hand wash gently with cold water and line dry in the shade 

Wash separately for the first few washes 

Natural indigo is a millennia-old plant dye. The alchemy of earth, water, air, and indigo leaves creates an unpredictable beauty. The rich natural colour of the indigo textile may fade slightly over time, with exposure to direct sunlight.
