Shades of Sky Writing Paper (Set of 10)

Nothing compares to a handwritten note as a gesture of care. Nila’s Shades of Sky letter paper comes as a set of 10 sheets of bevelled edge handmade paper, dip dyed in indigo to make an indigo rainbow of five shade variations.

The handmade paper for this letter paper set has been made by the Jaipur-based paper craft studio Craftboat, using recycled cotton fabric as the base for the pulp. The process of making the paper is done entirely by hand, starting with segregating the fabric scraps which are then turned to pulp through a gradual process of pulverising. Flattened into sheets, the paper pulp is then set out to dry. The paper when ready, carries the beautiful texture of handmade paper but with a smooth, rich grain that makes it enjoyable to write on.
